  • Lead: Ioan Vraciu, Mihnea Muraru, PhD
  • Key Team: Various
  • Goal: To harness the power of A.I. to predict human behavior and to examine A.I. ethical aspects
  • Info: In pursuing this goal, we have partnered with software and engineering entities

No matter the field, even law, medicine, or the games of Chess and Go, Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) has made its presence known, making it clear that it has great potential to change our lives. We are witnessing a revolution in technology unfolding right in front of our eyes, with the potential to fundamentally alter the world as we know it today.

A.I. applications in psychology are diverse and can have a powerful impact on our quality of life. A.I. can be used in a broad range of psychological fields, such as recruitment and selection, finding better ways to make clinical diagnoses, monitoring mental health improvements in patients, etcetera.

In addition, A.I. can be of great use in researching and predicting behavior using social media platforms and simulating different processes or disorders (computational psychology).

We are actively researching how to harness the power of A.I. to predict human behavior and we are also examining the ethical implications of A.I.
